US Treasury has announced on its website that a Model 1 FATCA intergovernmental agreement (IGA), a supplemental agreement, and an understanding signed by the US and Belgium entered force as of September 23, 2016.
The agreements were signed on April 23, 2014.
Belgium has been treated as if it has had an IGA in effect since June 30, 2014.
