South Africa releases guide on resolving cross-border tax disputes

The South African Revenue Service (SARS) has produced a draft guide on the mutual agreement procedure(MAP) which allows the government to eliminate double taxation in a cross-border tax dispute with treaty countries.

The guide, which is not an official document, is a practical document discussing how to make a MAP request and other items.
