Singapore, Ghana sign tax treaty

Singapore and Ghana have signed tax treaty, the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore has announced.

The agreement is designed to reduce incidence of double taxation and tax disputes. It includes reductions in withholding tax on interest, dividends, and royalties and provisions on exchange of information between tax authorities.

The agreement, signed March 31, will enter into force after procedures for ratification are completed by the two countries.
