OECD announces improvement to MLI matching database

The OECD today announced that it has expanded the functionality of a database it provides on its website that is designed to help countries and taxpayers figure out how the later signing of the Multilateral Convention to Implement Tax Treaty Related Measures to Prevent BEPS (MLI) affects bilateral tax treaties between countries.

MLI matching database now includes information on entry into effect dates for matched agreements and the option to calculate entry into effect dates based on anticipated dates of deposits, the OECD said. The expanded database also includes references to synthesized texts, if available.
