Ireland initials tax treaty with Oman, treaties with Botswana, Ethiopia enter into effect

Ireland has concluded negotiations for a new tax treaty with Oman and expects the treaty to be signed shortly, Irish Revenue has announced.

The government also announced that tax treaties with Botswana and Ethopia entered into effect in Ireland on January 1.

The treaty with Botswana was signed June 10, 2014 and entered into force on February 3, 2016. The tax treaty with Ethiopia, signed November 3, 2014, entered into force on August 12, 2016.
