The Indian government on Wednesday announced that it will extend the due date for multinationals to furnish a country-by-country report for accounting year 2016-17 to March 31, 2018.
The report must be submitted by a parent corporation or other reporting entity that is an Indian resident.
Fiscal year 2016-17 is the first year that taxpayers must submit the report.
