Transfer pricing economist Donna McComber has rejoined Baker & McKenzie Consulting LLC as a Director of Economics, the firm has announced.
McComber served as Assistant Director of the IRS’s Advance Pricing and Mutual Agreement Program, where she worked on complex transfer pricing cases and reviewed advance pricing agreements and mutual agreements with US treaty partners.
She also was involved in policy decisions, advised on litigation matters, and was played a role in drafting the IRS’s cost-sharing regulations.
Prior to joining the IRS in 2006, McComber was a Senior Economist with Baker & McKenzie.
“Donna is well known in the transfer pricing community and brings a wealth of knowledge from the government side in negotiating APAs and resolving MAP issues, two procedures that are highly important to companies engaging in cross-border transactions with related parties,” said Tom Linguanti, Chair of the Baker’s North American Tax Practice.
