UK one-stop VAT service for digital services to commence in January

UK businesses that supply digital services, including broadcasting, telecoms and e-services such as smartphone games and other apps, across the European Union will be able to use a one-stop VAT service in January, HM Revenue and Customs wrote in a June 9 news release.
