Isle of Man and Romania sign tax information exchange agreement

The Isle of Man and Romania on November 4 signed a tax information exchange agreement (TIEA) during a ceremony in London.

The TIEA was signed by His Excellency Mihnea Ioan Motoc, Romania’s ambassador in London, and Hon. Eddie Teare MHK, the Isle of Man’s treasury minister.

Minister Teare noted that the agreement is the Isle of Man’s 34th TIEA, and the 44th agreement signed that meets OECD international standards on tax cooperation and transparency.
