India and South Korea agree to suspend tax collection while MAP pending, new treaty to govern transfer pricing disputes

India and South Korea have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) agreeing to suspend the collection of taxes while mutual agreement procedure (MAP) negotiations are pending, according to a December 11 Indian government release.

The parties also agreed that procedures in the revised India-South Korea tax treaty will govern transfer pricing MAP disputes.
