The European Commission has launched a call for applications for a newly established expert group on automatic exchange of financial account information for direct taxation purposes. The new group will provide advice to ensure that EU legislation on automatic exchange of information is aligned and compatible with the OECD Global Standard on automatic exchange of financial account information, while minimizing administrative burdens and preserving specific needs of the EU internal market.
