Van Hove is new head of OECD tax treaties, transfer pricing, financial transactions division

Jeffrey Van Hove is the new Head of the Tax Treaty, Transfer Pricing and Financial Transactions Division a the OECD’s Centre for Tax Policy and Administration, the OECD today announced.

Van Hove is former Director of Global Tax Planning and Reporting at Amazon.

Van Hove joined the OECD last July as acting head of Treaty, Transfer Pricing, and Financial Transactions Division. He took up his new role as division head on January 18.

Van Hove also served as Tax Legislative Counsel at the US Treasury Department for four years, ending his stint with the US government in January 2012.

Prior to that, he was a partner with Willkie Farr and Gallagher in New York and at Perkins Coie in Portland, Oregon.
