The United States has so far put in place 11 bilateral competent authority arrangements for the automatic exchange of country-by-country reports, the OECD reported a June 22 release.
The US now has arrangements in place with Canada, Denmark, Guernsey, Iceland, Ireland, Korea, Latvia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, the Slovak Republic and South Africa, the OECD said.
The OECD said the US action affirms the country’s strong commitment to begin automatic exchange of country-by-country reports in 2018.
More US agreements are expected soon.
