Thomas H. Young has joined McDermott Will & Emery’s US and international tax practice group as a partner based in Chicago, the firm has announced.
Young is formerly a senior manager of international tax at KPMG LLP, where he specialized in complex international tax planning including mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring; repatriation planning; cross border financing; check-the-box loss planning; and permanent establishment issues.

Young received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School in 2002. He earned his A.B., cum laude, from Kenyon College in 1999.
