Switzerland and Norway sign protocol to tax treaty adding arbitration clause

Switzerland and Norway have signed protocol to amend their 1987 double taxation agreement to introduce an arbitration clause, the Swiss government announced on September 9.

At Norway’s request, Article 26 on the exchange of information has also been updated.

The agreement will enter into force after the countries have notified each other that the necessary domestic procedures to bring the protocol in to force been completed.
