Switzerland and Netherlands sign protocol amending tax treaty

Switzerland and the Netherlands have signed a protocol of amending their tax treaty to add an antiabuse clause, Switzerland’s’ Federal Council announced June 12.

Further clarifications concern the concept of a pension scheme and create a non-exclusive right for the source state to tax pensions, the Council said.

The treaty amendments are not yet in force.
