Tax professor Sjoerd Douma joins University of Amsterdam

Sjoerd Douma has been appointed professor of International and European Procedural Tax Law at the University of Amsterdam’s (UvA) Faculty of Law, UvA announced today.

Professor Douma, who will take up his duties October 1, specializes in tax treaty law, EU tax law, and procedural tax law.

He is formerly a tax professor with with Leiden University. He also was an online lecturer for a popular Coursera course entitled ‘Rethinking International Tax Law.’

Professor Douma  is also a partner at Lubbers, Boer & Douma.
