Serbia ratifies multilateral tax treaty to implement BEPS

 

Serbia on June 5 deposited with the OECD ratification documents for the Multilateral Convention to Implement Tax Treaty Related Measures to Prevent Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (MLI), the OECD has announced.

 

Serbia thus becomes the sixth country to ratify the MLI, which is designed to swiftly implement agreements reached by nations in the 2015 OECD/G20 base erosion profit shifting (BEPS) plan.

 

The MLI will enter into force for Serbia on October 1.
