Sandy Bhogal has joined Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP as a partner in the firm’s London office, the firm announced November 3. Bohgal, a frequent contributor to MNE Tax, is formerly head of Mayer Brown’s tax group in London.
Bhogal specializes in corporate tax and also advises on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, banking, capital markets, asset finance and property, and corporate tax planning. He is experienced in and the development of domestic and cross-border tax-efficient structures.
“I was drawn to Gibson Dunn’s strategic growth in London and am looking forward to contributing to its growing corporate practice,” Bhogal said.
Bhogal was with Mayer Brown International for 12 years. Prior to that he was with Ernst & Young in London. He also practiced at Norton Rose.
