“Platform for Collaboration on Tax” launches website showcasing work supporting developing countries

 
The “Platform for Collaboration on Tax,” a joint initiative of the IMF, OECD, UN, and World Bank Group (WBG) today launched a website promoting the groups’ efforts to help low- and middle-income countries strengthen their tax systems.  The aim of the Platform for Collaboration on Tax is to help countries address development challenges by providing practical tools and guidance on a range of tax issues.
 
The platform’s work has included the creation of “toolkits” to assist developing nation tax administrations on topics such as transfer pricing documentation and assessing comparables data in transfer pricing.
 
The platform was launched in 2016 and is supported by donations from the governments of Japan, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
