Multilateral tax treaty enters into force in Singapore affecting 14 bilateral treaties

The Multilateral Convention to Implement Tax Treaty Related Measures to Prevent Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (MLI) entered into force today for Singapore affecting 14 bilateral tax treaties, the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) announced.

As of today, the MLI has amended tax treaties with Australia, Austria, France, Isle of Man, Israel, Japan, Jersey, Lithuania, Malta, New Zealand, Poland, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, and the United Kingdom, IRAS said.
