Morocco joins “Inclusive Framework” to fight MNE tax avoidance

Morocco has joined the “Inclusive Framework on BEPS,” a coalition of now 129 countries working on global tax issues, the OECD today announced.

Members of the Inclusive Framework work to implement 2015 agreements reached by OECD and G20 countries as a result of the base erosion profit shifting (BEPS) plan.  These agreements are designed to reduce profit shifting by multinational groups and improve cross-border tax dispute resolution.

The Inclusive Framework is also working to reach consensus on revisions to the international tax rules to more appropriately tax digital firms.
