Mauritius, Kenya tax treaty protocol signed

The Mauritius government has announced that a protocol amending the tax treaty between Mauritius and Kenya was signed on October 16.

 

The government said that the treaty, which is not yet in force, would eliminate double taxation and promote investment between the two countries.

 

The treaty reduces tax rates and will help the two governments in combat tax evasion, the Mauritius government said.
