Vasilii Markov has joined Dentons as partner and head of the St. Petersburg tax group, the firm announced November 23.
Markov joins from Deloitte, and takes with him seven Deloitte tax practitioners that are experienced in tax benefits and government incentives.
Markov is formerly Deloitte’s head of the technology, media and telecommunications practice in the tax and legal department. He has more than 11 years’ experience advising Russian and international clients on tax matters, with a primary focus on the technology sector. He holds a PhD in economics.
