Japan’s tax treaties with Estonia and Lithuania enter into force

Japan’s Ministry of Finance today announced the entry into force of tax treaties signed with Estonia and Lithuania. Dplomatic notes for both tax treaties have been exchanged, the ministry said.

Japan-Estonia tax treaty, signed by the two governments on August 30, 2017, will enter into force on September 29. The Japan-Lithuania treaty, signed July 13, 2017, enters into force today, the ministry said.
