Japan, Uzbekistan commence tax treaty negotiations

The governments of Japan and Uzbekistan begun tax treaty negotiations, the Japanese government today announced. The first round of negotiations will begin on September 10, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan said.

The new treaty would amend a1986 treaty between Japan and the Soviet Socialist Republic.
