Japan, Uzbekistan agreed in principle to tax treaty

The governments of Japan and Uzbekistan have agreed in principle on new tax treaty, Japan’s Ministry of Finance announced Septmber 20.

The new treaty, which is not yet in force, would replace the existing treaty between Japan and the Soviet Union which entered into force in 1986, Japan’s Finance Ministry said.
