Japan, Morocco agree to terms of new tax treaty

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan today announced that the governments of Japan and Morocco have agreed in principle to the terms of a new tax treaty.

The convention aims to eliminate double taxation, prevent tax evasion and avoidance, and encourage investment and exchanges between the two countries.

The new treaty will be signed once the final text is set.
