Indian and Liechtenstein officials express interest in negotiating tax treaty

Liechtenstein and India may soon negotiate a tax treaty.

According to an April 20 Liechtenstein government statement, Indian Foreign Affairs Minister Vijay Kumar Singh and Lichtenstein Minister for Foreign Affairs Aurelia Frick have both expressed interest in pursing a tax agreement between the nations.

The discussion occurred during Minister Singh’s April 18–19 trip to Liechtenstein, where the officials discussed the possibility of extending the European Free Trade Association free trade network to include India.

Frick said a tax agreement would promote economic exchanges between the two countries.
