India’s Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) on March 21 requested taxpayer feedback to aid a new task force that is drafting a rewrite of India’s direct tax laws.
“A Task Force has been constituted to review the Income-tax Act, 1961 and to draft a new Direct Tax Law in consonance with the economic needs of the country,” the CBDT said in a statement
