Grant Thornton has announced it has added offices in Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, and St. Maarten as, effective August 1, it is has taken over a PwC firm.
The expansion adds to Grant Thornton’s already considerable presence in the region: before the expansion, the firm had 13 locations in the Caribbean, the firm said.
Grant Thornton in the Dutch Caribbean will be led by Steve Vanenburg, who had been with PwC for more than 24 years.

Other members of senior leadership include Edsel Lopez and Hans Ruiter, who are partners in, Aruba; and Herbert Beldman and Paul van Vliet, who are partners in St. Maarten.
