Georgia has deposited its instrument ratifying the Multilateral Convention to Implement Tax Treaty Related Measures to Prevent Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (MLI) with the OECD’s Secretary-General, Angel Gurría; the OECD announced March 29.
By ratifying the MLI, Georgia aims to modify existing bilateral tax treaties to prevent multinational group tax avoidance and improve cross-border tax dispute resolution.
