The Philippines Department of Finance on September 8 advised that since the FATCA intergovernmental agreement (IGA) between The Philippines and the US has not yet entered into force, FATCA reporting will not take place on September 30 .
Financial institutions should prepare for full implementation of the IGA beginning the second quarter 2016, the government said.
