The Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) announced on April 20 that it will host a virtual roundtable next month on implementing the current expected credit losses standard and other technical matters.
The event will be webcast live at www.fasb.org on Thursday, May 20 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
Roundtable participants will discuss implementation, purchased financial assets with credit deterioration, and troubled debt restructurings. Panelists will include representatives of financial institutions, regulators, and other stakeholders. The FASB will post a participant list to its website before the meeting.
The roundtable meeting will be live-streamed on the FASB website. To access it, go to the “Attend a Meeting Remote (live webcast)” option on the “Upcoming Meetings” section of the FASB website.
