EU Commission appoints members of VAT expert group

The EU Commission has appointed 34 organizations and 12 individuals to its VAT Expert Group. The new members include trade groups, accounting firms, and tax professors. The group will serve for two years beginning October 1.

The VAT Expert Group is charged with assisting and advising the European Commission on VAT matters.
