Cabo Verde joins “Inclusive Framework on BEPS” to fight tax avoidance by multinationals

Cabo Verde has joined the “Inclusive Framework on BEPS,” a coalition of countries that aim to fight tax avoidance by multinational groups and improve tax dispute resolution, the OECD announced on November 19.

By joining the framework, Cabo Verde has pledged to adopt minimum standards agreed to by nations in 2015 as a result of the OECD/g20 base erosion profit shifting (BEPS) project.

With Cabo Verde, 124 countries have now joined this group.
