Pilar Barriguete has joined Duff & Phelps’s transfer pricing services practice in Madrid, the firm announced November 1.
Barriguete advises clients across diverse industries and jurisdictions, including transfer pricing for financial services transactions. Her experience includes delivering large-scale documentation projects, planning engagements, restructuring and tax audit defense for clients headquartered in the UK, Spain, and other countries Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Barriguete’s recent focus has been on treasury transfer pricing, pricing of intercompany loans, cash pooling, guarantees and related financial transactions.
“Pilar is a well-established transfer pricing professional, and she is an ideal complement to our expanding international transfer pricing practice, providing us with direct on-the-ground capabilities in Spain,” said Mike Heimert, Managing Director and global leader of the Transfer Pricing Services practice.
She joins the firm from EY, where she led EY’s transfer pricing center of excellence for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to her three years with EY, she was with Deloitte for 8 years.
