Russian President Vladimir Putin on December 1 signed addendums to the country’s tax code providing enhanced tax benefits to residents of the free economic zone in Crimea, Russian news agency TASS has reported.
Under the new provisions,”the income tax for organizations will not be payable for ten years to the federal budget, and will not be more than 13.5% if payable to the regional budget,” TASS reported. Special rates of property and land taxes for companies were also adopted.
