US and Angola sign Model 1 FATCA IGA

US Treasury Department has updated its FATCA website, reporting that Angola and the US signed a Model 1 intergovernmental agreement (IGA) as of November 9.

Angola and the US previously agreed to a FATCA IGA “in substance,” agreeing that Angola would be treated as if it entered into an IGA  with the US as of November 30, 2014.
