Tomas Balco has been appointed Head of the Transfer Pricing Unit in the OECD Centre for Tax Policy and Administration, the OECD announced June 22.
Balco has worked at the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic since August 2014, where he served as General State Counsel and Head of the International Tax Division.
He also taught taxation as a professor at KIMEP University for 7 years and worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Further, Balco has been a participant on UN Committee of Experts on International Taxation since 2008.
Blaco will commence work on September 4.
