Carlo Fassbinder is Luxembourg’s new Director of Taxation at the Ministry of Finance, Luxembourg’s Ministry of Finance announced March 17.
Fassbinder was previously head of retail and corporate banking at BGL BNP Paribas. He joined the Luxembourg bank in 1997.
“Carlo Fassbinder distinguishes himself by his profound knowledge of tax matters, his managerial experience and his excellent analytical skills. Coming from the private sector, he is well positioned to gauge the challenges faced by Luxembourg in the face of changing international economic and financial news,” said Pierre Gramegna, Luxembourg’s Minster for Finance.
Fassbinder’s selection follows the January appointment of Pascale Toussing as director of the Administration for Direct Contributions.
