OECD to hold January 21 consultation on draft rules to prevent avoidance of PE status

The OECD has announced that it will hold a January 21, 2015, consultation on its discussion draft concerning preventing the artificial avoidance of permanent establishment (PE) status. The draft was released on October 31 in response to action 7 of the OECD/G20 base erosion and profit shifting (BEPS) plan.

Persons and organizations that comment on the discussion draft may request to speak in support of their comments by January 9. Persons wishing but not speak must register online by January 9. The consultation will take place at the OECD in Paris.
