Peru joins OECD multilateral tax convention 

Peru’s Minister of Economy and Finance, ‎David Tuesta, on May 28  deposited Peru’s instrument of accession for the Multilateral Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters with the OECD.

Peru has joined 119 countries and jurisdictions participating in the multilateral agreement, which is designed to increase transparency and combat cross-border tax evasion.

The convention will enter into force for Peru on 1 September 1.
