Jerred Blanchard joins Baker & McKenzie’s Houston tax practice

Jerred Blanchard has joined Baker & McKenzie’s tax practice in Houston as Counsel, the firm announced February 5. For more than 30 years, Blanchard has advised clients on mergers and acquisitions, US consolidated return regulations, and international tax planning issues. He is formerly with EY and, prior to that, was with Weil Gotshal & Manges.

Blanchard has a B.A. from Yale University, a J.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Law, and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law.  He is author of co-author of well-known consolidated return treatise, Federal Income Taxation of Corporations Filing Consolidated Returns.
