That same year, Keith began his professional career, when he signed a contract with Kepez Belediyespor of the Turkish Basketball League. * Renee Helbok (1994) Swimming record holder at KHS and Ithaca and who was an NCAA Division III champion. Adding to these accomplishments, this two-time Daily Freeman Basketball Player of the Year and Middletown Record Player of the Year maintains the highest scoring average for a season (29.4), the most single game points scored (61) and the most three-pointers in a career (334), which was a New York State record for three-pointers. A league champion in track, he still holds the school record in the 3200. As a four-year member of the basketball team under Coach G. Warren Kias, Big Ed developed into one of the best big men ever to play at KHS.
