In a surprising move, PwC has agreed to hire more than 600 members of GE’s tax team from around the world and provide tax services to GE on a global basis.
Effective April 1, the new Global Enterprise Tax Solutions team will service GE and other PwC clients under a five-year, renewable agreement, PwC said January 12.
“The caliber of talent joining our firm from GE is remarkable,” said PwC Vice Chairman and Managing Partner Mark Mendola.“This arrangement will enable us to continue providing our clients with the very best tax services in an increasingly volatile and uncertain environment,” Mendola said.
