Paul Caron named Dean of Pepperdine Law School 

Paul L. Caron has been named dean of Pepperdine School of Law, Pepperdine University has announced.

Caron, a tax expert, is currently associate dean for research and faculty development at the law school and professor of law.

He has written over 50 books and scholarly articles and is owner and publisher of the Law Professor Blogs Network, comprised of 50 blogs edited by law professors. Caron publishes and edits Tax Prof Blog, which is part of this network.

“I am honored to be chosen as the next dean of this great law school at this important point in its history, following in the footsteps of Deanell Tacha, Ken Starr, Richard Lynn, and Ron Phillips,” Caron said.

Caron  will formally take over as dean on June 1.
