US Reps. David Schweikert (R-AZ), Jackie Walorski (R-IN), Carlos Curbelo (R-FL), Brian Higgins (D-NY), Terri Sewell (D-AL), and Suzan DelBene (D-WA) have been named by steering committees serve as new members of the influential House Ways and Means Committee, it was announced today.
The Republican members will join the tax-writing panel if approved by House Republican Conference on Friday, January 6; the Democrat nominations are expected to be considered by the full Democratic Caucus next week.
