Latvia and Cyprus sign tax treaty

Latvia and Cyprus have signed a tax treaty, Latvia’s Ministry of Finance announced May 26.

The treaty was signed on May 24 by the Latvia’s Minister for Finance Dana Reizniece-Ozola and Cyprus Minister for Finance Charis Georgiade. The treaty is designed to create a stable tax regime to promote foreign investment.

The treaty has not yet entered into force.
