Japan and Panama to negotiate tax information exchange agreement

The Japanese government has today announced that it will begin negotiations with Panama for a new tax information exchange agreement.

Negotiations will begin May 20 on the agreement, which will include provision for automatic exchange between tax authorities of financial account information based on OECD standards, the goverment said.
